Walid lists what the contracts require before year end

What you will be able to do

This lesson is for legal counsel. Contracts carry dates that are easy to miss: payments, reports, notice periods before an automatic renewal. You will ask Walid, the AI agent for contracts, what the company's contracts require before the end of the year, and check his list on the Contracts page. A question changes nothing.

Before you start

  • You are signed in as legal counsel of Meridian Souq Trading LLC.
  • The company's contracts are uploaded and analysed on the Contracts page.

    Read Walid's answer

    Walid's green Answer says the company has one contract on file, the warehousing and distribution agreement with Northgate Logistics, running to 28 February 2027. Before year end it requires the monthly payments, confidentiality and compliance with UAE law. There is no renewal clause, so no renewal date falls before year end; either side may end it early with 30 days' notice and a 10% charge. Walid also points out gaps in the records: none of the contract's obligations has a deadline or calendar entry, and its review isn't assigned. He changed nothing.

    Check the contracts

    In the left menu, open Contracts. The Northgate Logistics agreement is listed here with its obligations; this is where you would add their deadlines.

How to check it worked

Walid's green Answer lists what the contracts require before 31 December and the notice and renewal position, and the gaps in the records. The Contracts page shows the same contract.

Common mistakes

  • Missing a notice date because the contract renews by itself. Walid lists notice deadlines separately; put them in your calendar.
  • Relying on the list for contracts that were never uploaded. Walid reads only what is on the Contracts page.
