New: the ComplianceOS AI team

An AI team that prepares your compliance work.
Your people approve it.

18 specialist AI agents work inside ComplianceOS on UAE tax, financial crime, data protection, workforce, contracts, risk, audit and ESG. Ask in plain words. The lead agent plans the work, you approve the plan, and the agents prepare everything through the app with only the access you give them. Filing, approving and signing off stay with your people.

  • 18 specialist agents

One for each area of work

  • Plans you approve

Nothing runs before a person says yes

  • Every step on the record

    Live to-do list and timeline

  • People sign off

    Agents never file or approve

How it works

From a question to work ready for sign-off

Talk to one agent or to the whole team. The work happens in the same modules your people use, and it comes back to them to approve.

  1. 1

    Ask in Chat

Write what you need, to one agent (type @ and pick, for example @Layla) or to the whole team. Attach files if they help: statements, ledgers, contracts, bills.

  2. 2

    The lead plans

Messages to the whole team go to Omar, the compliance lead. If the records answer the question, he answers. If it needs work, he proposes a plan: one step per agent, plus the steps only a person can do.

  3. 3

    You approve the plan

Approve it, ask for changes or reject it. You can untick steps. Nothing runs until a person approves, and any step added later comes back to you.

  4. 4

    Agents do the work

Each agent works through the app with only the permissions its job needs, on the entities you let it onto. You watch its to-do list and every step on a live timeline.

  5. 5

    They ask when unsure

When an agent needs a fact or a go-ahead, it pauses and asks the right person. The question appears in Needs you and My Actions, and by email.

  6. 6

    Handover, then your sign-off

The agent hands over a summary: what it did, what it found, what you must do and what is still open, with a link to the page. Your people review, approve, file and sign off.

Agents prepare. People approve. Filing a return, approving, signing off, clearing a sanctions match or paying is always done by a person in ComplianceOS.

Six ways work gets started

Most work starts with a question. The rest starts by itself, from what happens in the app and from schedules you control.

Chat to one agent

Type @ and the agent's name. It reads the records, does the work in its own area and replies in the conversation with its handover.

Chat to the whole team

Write without @ and Omar takes it. He answers from the records, or plans the work across the agents and writes up the result when every step has finished.

Events in the app

A data subject request arrives, a sanctions screening finds a possible match, a regulatory alert is raised. The agent for that work starts by itself.

Schedules

Recurring runs such as the weekly compliance plan, the month-end close or the monthly VAT check. Add, pause or change them in the AI team settings.

Agent to agent

Agents hand work to each other: Tariq passes a VAT change to Layla, Noura sends missing bank data to Yusuf. The reply goes back to the agent that asked.

Follow up

Press Follow up on a finished conversation and the same agent picks it up with its earlier answer in mind.

Meet the team

18 agents, each with one job

Every agent has a name, a role and the narrow set of app permissions that role needs. Names, Arabic names, colours, writing style and language can be changed per organisation.

Coordination

Plans the work, sets entities up and keeps evidence ready for sign-off.

Omar

Compliance lead

Entity licence

The compliance officer's planning assistant. Reads across every module, keeps the compliance calendar complete, takes messages to the whole team and plans work across the agents. Every Monday he looks 45 days ahead, starts the right agent for each deadline and sends a weekly summary.

Ask, for example

“What compliance deadlines do we have in the next 30 days, and is anything late?”

“Please prepare the Q3 VAT return, ready for the tax manager to review.”

Plans approved by the person who asked; the compliance officer reviews his summaries.

Adel

Onboarding

Entity licence

Takes a new entity to compliance-ready: profile facts, applicable frameworks mapped and their tasks assigned, a chart of accounts, statutory deadlines and reminders, specialist set-up handed to the right agents, and the entity's agent schedules turned on. Also learns your treatment from past filings.

Ask, for example

“Is this entity fully set up? What's still missing?”

“Map the frameworks that apply to this entity and set up their tasks.”

Access for agents on a new entity is approved by a person in Approvals.

Dana

Evidence clerk

Entity licence

Keeps the Evidence Vault sound and gets compliance tasks ready for sign-off. Finds proof that already exists in the vault, library or email, submits it with a clear explanation, runs the AI review and chases owners for what is missing.

Ask, for example

“Please get the open evidence tasks ready for my sign-off.”

“What evidence gaps do we have?”

The compliance officer signs off each task.

Finance & data

Keeps the books fed and closes the month so the tax and audit work is right.

Yusuf

Data intake

Entity licence

Keeps an entity's books fed: brings in transactions from the accounting system, bank feeds and statements, client spreadsheets and supplier bills, matches bank lines and tells you what's left. On the 2nd of each month he brings last month up to date.

Ask, for example

“Bring September up to date.”

“Here's the Q3 bank statement. Bring it in, match what you can and tell me what's left.”

The finance manager checks his work and settles conflicts.

Noura

Finance controller

Group team

Runs the month-end close: checks everything a close needs, drafts the missing journals and submits them for approval, keeps the fixed-asset register and chart of accounts in order, and finds unexplained differences.

Ask, for example

“Please get September ready to close and tell me what's left for me.”

“The bank balance doesn't agree with the ledger. Find out why and tell me what to post.”

The finance manager approves journals and closes the period.

Tax

VAT, corporate tax, transfer pricing, free zones, tax groups and excise.

Layla

VAT preparer

Tax team

Prepares UAE VAT returns: classifies the period's transactions, attaches receipts, finds missed reverse charges and missing facts, computes the return and runs the consistency, pre-submission and filed-figure checks. Classifications she can't settle go to the tax reviewer's queue.

Ask, for example

“Classify the Q3 transactions, compute the Q3 VAT return and run the checks so it's ready for my review.”

“Check our foreign supplier invoices for missed reverse charge.”

The tax manager reviews her work and files the return.

Karim

Corporate tax & transfer pricing

Tax team

Prepares UAE Corporate Tax and transfer-pricing work: the year's projection and the CT return draft, free-zone QFZP and substance checks, small business relief, the related-party register, TP documentation and adjustments.

Ask, for example

“Project this year's corporate tax and tell me whether we still qualify for the free-zone rate.”

“Draft our transfer-pricing Local File for review.”

The tax manager reviews his work and files the CT return.

Reem

Free zone officer

Tax team

Keeps free-zone licences and the zone authority's obligations in order: the licence register, renewals, audited accounts, lease and visa quotas, activity limits and their proof. Anything that affects the free-zone rate goes to Karim.

Ask, for example

“What do we owe the free-zone authority, and is anything overdue?”

“Is any of our income outside our licensed activities?”

The compliance officer reviews her work on the Free Zone page.

Salem

Tax group

Group team

Prepares the Corporate Tax work of a UAE Tax Group and its members: the consolidated group CT return, transfers between members, intercompany matching and the domestic minimum top-up tax (DMTT). Asks Karim to prepare each member's position.

Ask, for example

“Which companies are in our tax group and at what ownership?”

“Do we owe the domestic minimum top-up tax?”

The group tax manager reviews his work and files the group return.

Huda

Excise preparer

Excise add-on

Prepares UAE excise tax work: the excise product register, stock movements (production, import, release from a designated zone, export, destruction) and the monthly excise return.

Ask, for example

“Prepare September's excise return.”

“What will October's excise return look like? Is anything missing before the month ends?”

The tax manager reviews the return and files it.

Financial crime

Due diligence, screening, monitoring and the UBO register.

Faisal

Financial crime

Compliance team

Does the financial-crime analysis: customer due diligence, sanctions and PEP screening, adverse media, transaction-monitoring triage, SAR drafts and the UBO register. Sends every possible match to the MLRO with the evidence.

Ask, for example

“Screen our new customers and their owners, and tell me what's still needed before we onboard them.”

“Run transaction monitoring and triage the open AML alerts.”

The MLRO decides every match and approves and files SARs.

Data protection

UAE PDPL (or the DIFC or ADGM regime): requests, assessments, policies and consent.

Sara

Data protection officer

Compliance team

The DPO's assistant: keeps data subject requests moving, keeps the Record of Processing Activities current, drafts DPIAs and transfer impact assessments, logs and documents breaches, runs vendor-risk reviews and prepares erasure plans.

Ask, for example

“A customer has asked for a copy of their data. Please handle the request and tell me what you need from me.”

“Draft the DPIA for adding footfall analytics to our store CCTV.”

The DPO approves; a person executes erasure and sends notices.

Hessa

Privacy governance

Compliance team

Runs the privacy programme: privacy policies and their reviews, staff training and attestations, consent records, the suppression list and privacy complaints.

Ask, for example

“Prepare our customer privacy policy from the template and send it to me for approval.”

“Launch the annual privacy training campaign for all staff.”

The DPO publishes policies in Approvals.

People & contracts

Employee records, WPS salary files, contracts and disputes.

Mariam

Workforce & WPS

Compliance team

Keeps the employee register and WPS payroll files in order: the roster, salary information files (SIF), Emiratisation, employee documents and their renewals, and gratuity accruals.

Ask, for example

“Prepare October's salary information file so I can check it before it goes to the bank.”

“Which visas, Emirates IDs and labour cards need renewing? Please chase them.”

The HR director reviews every salary file before it goes to the bank.

Rashid

Contracts counsel

Compliance team

Does the groundwork on contracts and disputes: brings contracts in, checks the extraction, sets up obligations, compares against templates, translates, drafts renewals and new contracts, and records disputes from decision letters.

Ask, for example

“Review the new freight forwarding agreement, set up its obligations and tell me the risks.”

“Our warehouse lease is up for renewal. Please prepare the renewal so I can approve it.”

Legal counsel reviews, approves and finalises.

Risk & audit

The risk register, regulatory change and internal audit.

Tariq

Risk & regulatory

Compliance team

Keeps the risk picture and regulatory obligations current: maintains the risk register, works out what each regulatory change means for the entity and hands the work to the right agent, and watches anomalies, insights and policy alerts.

Ask, for example

“Assess the open regulatory alerts and tell me which need action from us.”

“Bring the risk register up to date.”

The risk & compliance officer makes every risk decision.

Ziad

Audit liaison

Compliance team

Coordinates internal audit cycles in the Audit Hub: maps governance documents to auditable points, prepares requests with suggested answers, keeps assignees and due dates set, re-runs validation, computes readiness and proposes findings.

Ask, for example

“Map our procurement policy to auditable points so I can review the mapping.”

“How ready are we for the audit?”

The audit lead confirms the mapping, reviews responses and completes the audit.

ESG

Emissions, ESG metrics and the sustainability report.

Aisha

ESG analyst

ESG add-on

Prepares sustainability data and the ESG report: activity data and emissions, emission factors, Scope 3 estimates, ESG metrics, the materiality assessment and the report itself.

Ask, for example

“Turn our activity data into this year's emissions and prepare the sustainability report for my review.”

“Estimate our Scope 3 emissions.”

The ESG lead verifies, approves and makes any external disclosure.

Control & safety

Agents prepare. People decide.

Every action an agent can take in the app is classed before it runs. Sign-offs aren't offered to agents at all, and the app refuses agent keys on them independently.

Read

Looks things up freely: records, documents, dashboards, history.

Prepare

Creates and changes drafts and working records, such as a computed return, a draft journal or a DPIA draft. Runs straight away and shows on the timeline.

Go-ahead

Anything that puts work in front of a checker, reaches people outside your organisation or has an effect beyond the job waits for a person's go-ahead, then runs once.

People only

Filing, approving, deciding and every other sign-off. Never offered to an agent. A go-ahead only lets an agent submit; the sign-off is still a person's.

What agents do

  • Read records across the modules they are allowed into, and the documents you hand them
  • Prepare drafts: returns, journals, assessments, policies, salary files, contract drafts
  • Run the app's own checks on their work before they hand over
  • Ask your people for facts and go-aheads, and remember the answers
  • Hand work to each other and share the facts they have established
  • Write a handover that says what you must do next, with a link to the page

What agents never do

  • File, submit-lock or amend a return, or submit a voluntary disclosure
  • Approve, reject, sign off, finalise or complete anything
  • Clear or confirm sanctions and PEP matches, close AML alerts or file a SAR
  • Delete anything
  • Grant or change access, roles or API keys, or change billing, integrations and settings
  • Pay, or record a payment
  • Contact anyone outside your organisation without a person's go-ahead first
  • Act as an outside party, such as an auditor or a data subject
  • Leave the entity they are working on

Where only a person can decide, the app refuses an agent with the message ‘Only people can …’, whatever the agent was asked to do.

Transparency

You can see everything an agent does

No black box. Every agent works in the open, in the same records your people use.

Live to-do list

Before any job of more than a few steps, the agent writes its plan in plain words. You watch items move to in progress, done, blocked (with the reason) or dropped.

Step-by-step timeline

Every call the agent made and every record it read or changed, with each go-ahead and who gave it. Names, emails and ID numbers are partly hidden unless you choose to show them.

Checked handovers

Every figure in a handover must come from a step the agent actually ran, and the app checks its job requires must have run after its last change. A separate review then tries to disprove the handover before it reaches you.

Full audit trail

What the agent did is recorded against the agent, and what your people approved is recorded against them. You can always tell the two apart.

Private conversations

Chats are private to the person who asked by default. An organisation admin can make them visible to everyone on the entity.

Lessons you confirm

When a checker corrects an agent with a reason that will apply again, the agent proposes a lesson. Once a person confirms it, every later run on that entity starts with it.

Agents read the documents you hand them

Attach files in Chat, or point an agent at the entity's document library, vaulted evidence, Audit Hub policy documents or contracts. Agents open them page by page and every sheet of a spreadsheet. Text inside a document is treated as data, never as instructions. They can also save working files you can see, such as reconciliation tables or a spreadsheet reshaped into the layout an import needs.

PDFExcelWordCSVImagesText

You stay in control

Steer running work, decide what each agent can reach, and set what the AI may spend.

Steer, interrupt or stop

Add a note that the agent reads on its next turn. Interrupt sends an urgent note it reads first. Stop asks for confirmation, then the agent hands over what it has done so far. The work is kept.

Permissions per entity

Each agent holds only the narrow app permissions its job needs, as its own role on each entity. Agents reach an entity only when a person lets them on, and switching a team off takes its agents off straight away.

Monthly AI budget

Your organisation sets a monthly AI budget with a warning as it gets close. When it is used up, agents pause before their next AI call and carry on when the budget is raised or the month turns.

Limits on every task

Each run has a block of turns and a cost cap that your organisation can change per agent. At a limit the agent pauses and asks the person who asked: continue, or stop and hand over. Work is never thrown away.

Bring your own AI account

Organisations can connect their own AI account. Calls served by it don't count toward the monthly AI budget.

Your people come first

A few runs go at once per organisation, and work a person asked for goes ahead of automatic work. Agents also follow the app's own rate limits.

Automation

Work that starts itself

Events and schedules are set per organisation and come with sensible defaults. Adel turns on the schedules for the agents an entity uses when he sets it up.

When something happens

The agent for that work starts by itself.

  • A data subject request arrives

Sara logs it, assigns it and keeps it moving to its deadline.

  • A screening finds a possible sanctions match

Faisal sends it to the MLRO with the evidence.

  • A high or critical regulatory alert is raised

Tariq works out what it means for the entity and hands the work to the right agent.

  • A free-zone licence is registered

Reem sets up its obligations and checks what the zone requires.

  • An approval is decided

The agent that prepared the work carries on: after a filing decision, a journal decision or a policy decision.

  • A compliance deadline is approaching

Omar makes sure the right agent or person is on it.

On a schedule

Runs fill in the period they are about. Only one run per schedule is open at a time.

  • Every MondayOmar's weekly compliance plan: the next 45 days, agents started, a summary for the compliance officer.
  • Monthly, on the 1stReem's free-zone review: licences near expiry, obligations due and anything overdue.
  • Monthly, on the 2ndYusuf brings last month up to date: syncs, bank feeds, matching.
  • Monthly, on the 3rdNoura's month-end close checklist and what's left for the finance manager.
  • Monthly, on the 5thHuda prepares last month's excise return; Tariq reviews regulatory updates and the risk register.
  • Monthly, on the 10thLayla checks the VAT periods and prepares any return that has ended and isn't filed.
  • QuarterlyKarim's corporate tax check and Salem's tax group check.
  • Every MondayHessa's privacy programme check and Mariam's employee document renewals.

Duplicates are avoided: if an agent is already on the same work, a new event reaches it as a note instead of starting a second job. A burst of events of the same kind is merged into one.

Turn on the team each entity needs

Every entity has a licence that brings the coordination agents. Add the Tax team or the Compliance team (which includes the Tax team), and the Group team, Excise or ESG add-ons where they apply. Each team includes a yearly allowance of finished work.

How pricing works

AI team questions

No. Agents prepare the work and hand it over. Filing a return, approving, signing off, clearing a sanctions match, paying and every other decision is made by a person in ComplianceOS. Those actions are never offered to agents, and the app refuses agent keys on them independently.

Only what its job needs. Each agent holds a narrow set of app permissions as its own role on each entity, and it reaches an entity only after a person lets it on. It can't leave the entity it is working on. The one exception is the tax group agent, which reads its member entities.

Open AI team → Chat. Type @ and an agent's name to ask one agent, or write without @ to ask the whole team. Omar, the compliance lead, answers or proposes a plan for you to approve. Work also starts from events in the app and from schedules.

It pauses and asks the right person, by role, or the person who asked. Questions appear in Needs you and My Actions, and by email, where you can reply APPROVE or REJECT. A lasting fact can be saved so no agent asks again. Tax and legal positions are saved only as proposals until a person confirms them.

Yes. Add a note, interrupt with an urgent note, or stop. When you stop, the agent finishes before its next step and hands over what it has done so far. The work is kept.

Every run has a live to-do list and a step-by-step timeline of every call, every record read or changed and every go-ahead. The handover's figures must come from steps the agent ran, and a separate review tries to disprove the handover before it reaches you.

Yes: PDFs, spreadsheets (every sheet), Word files, CSV, text and images, attached in Chat or held in the document library, the Evidence Vault, the Audit Hub or contracts. Text inside a document is treated as data, never as instructions.

By default a conversation is private to the person who asked. An organisation admin can make conversations visible to everyone on the entity.

Your organisation sets a monthly AI budget, and every task has a turn limit and a cost cap that can be changed per agent. Agents are warned before a limit and pause at it to ask whether to continue. You can also bring your own AI account.

Yes. Each agent's name, Arabic name, colour, writing style (brief, explain or formal) and language are set per organisation. An agent always presents itself as an AI agent.

Every entity's licence brings Omar, Adel, Yusuf and Dana. The Tax team adds Layla, Karim and Reem. The Compliance team adds Faisal, Sara, Hessa, Mariam, Rashid, Tariq and Ziad, and includes the Tax team. The Group team adds Salem and Noura, the Excise add-on adds Huda and the ESG add-on adds Aisha.
